BUS/TRAIN/SUBWAY – Get all of the public transportation (bus, train and subway) information you need by visiting ExperienceLA at www.experiencela.com/GettingAround/. A "very" helpful guide when planning your trip to Los Angeles!

If you're traveling by train or subway, you can also visit the Metro Trip Planner at www.mta.net. Just type the destination to "7th St. / Flower St.". To get to Union Station or the local Blue Line station, see www.metrolinktrains.com. Union Station in Downtown LA is 2 miles from the Los Angeles Athletic Club.

To get to the Los Angeles Athletic Club from Union Station by metro, take the Red Line or the Purple Line. The fare for either line is $1.25.

  • Red Line – from the Red Line subway terminal at Union Station, take the North Hollywood Station train & exit at 7th St./Metro Center.

  • Purple Line – the from Purple Line subway terminal at Union Station, take the Wilshire/Western Station train & exit at 7th St./Metro Center.

From 7th St. Metro Center, use the Hope St. exit. Walk to 7th St. and then east two blocks (past Grand Ave.) to the Los Angeles Athletic Club at the corner of 7th St. & Olive St.. If you cross Figueroa St., you walked the wrong way on Flower St.

DASH BUS – To get to the Los Angeles Athletic Club from Union Station by bus, take the blue DASH Bus, Route B: Financial District (www.ladottransit.com), to 7th Street & Olive. Each DASH bus ride is $0.25. If you prefer using a taxi service instead of the DASH Bus, call a cab when you arrive at Union Station. FLYAWAY BUS – If you're flying to LAX, save some money and take the FlyAway Bus to Union Station (www.lawa.org/welcome_LAX.aspx?id=292). Union Station in Downtown LA is 2 miles from the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Each FlyAway Bus ride is only $6.00. At each LAX terminal curbside, the FlyAway Bus to Union Station will take you to Downtown LA. It will also take you from Union Station to LAX.
