Thumb Media Group (TMG) produces custom mobile applications for content brands that run across iPhone, Android, and iPad. Jared has spent the past six years working with publishers to increase their distribution and create revenue generation opportunities in digital publishing. Areas of focus include mobile, digital editions, custom digital publishing, eReader devices, social media and online newsstands. Prior to his post at TMG, he most recently was principle of a digital publishing consulting business overseeing sales, marketing strategy and client services for publishers. He started his career in digital publishing with Zinio, LLC where he was Director of Account Management, overseeing digital audience development for 350 titles. On the print side of the business, Jared has extensive experience in direct response marketing for consumer magazines as well as new business development. Jared spent eight years working in print publishing at US News, NewsWeek and Sports Illustrated.
